For years I didn't know how to handle life's challenges without anxiety or burnout. I also didn't know how to recognize my self-worth, connect with my innate intelligence or how to live a life that that aligns with my values.
I wasn’t living a life of well-being.
A blindsided break-up left me devastated, dealing with grief, depression and loss.
Unfamiliar in such dark territories, and not knowing how to self-regulate it was the most difficult period of my life.
No longer wanting to live in resentment and anger, I made a conscious choice of taking charge of my emotional and psychological well-being.
If I didn’t provide myself with what I needed at my darkest moments, no one else was going to do it for me.
I needed me.
After 2 years of navigating the ups and downs of grief and depression, I never giving up fighting for my wellness.
I found forgiveness, compassion for myself and others, and experienced the powerful fierceness of my heart.
I know how hard it is to transform life after adversity. But I also know how courageous and resilient my heart was.
I allowed my heart to open and expand, instead of letting it resist and contract. Not easy, but also not impossible.
Life will always be challenging and constantly changing. That doesn’t mean we can’t reconnect with ourselves to embrace wellness, manage the difficult moments and ultimately love and appreciate the already perfect version of ourselves.
